Places Hold Special Memories and Dreams

So many times we remember our visits to places near and far with fond memories - new sights, new cultures, new food.  Or we dream of traveling to places that intrigue us, places with history we'd like to learn more about, art and sights that draw us to them.

That is what inspired me to create this line of travel jewelry.  Now as we go through our busy days, we can carry a little bit of these places with us.  We hope you enjoy the first few we've made.  Next to come - a Prince Edward Island bracelet as it is one of my favorite places.  I was fortunate to be able to visit the island and see the homestead where Lucy Maud Montgomery lived and the house she patterned Green Gables after.  But...more about that next week when we release the new Anne of Green Gables bracelet. 

Venice Bracelet / Upcycled / Scrabble Jewelry

  

 
This Venice, Italy bracelet is a unique scrabble jewelry item using upcycled scrabble tiles with vintage Venice images adhered to them. There are seven scrabble tiles that spell VENICE on the inside along with one blank tile. The landmarks included are the Piazza San Marco, Grand Canal, gondola and others. Each bracelet is handcrafted by us.

We enjoy finding the best vintage and antique images to show the beauty and history of each location. We work to select beads that accentuate the uniqueness of each image.

This Venice bracelet has pretty glass and gold beads between each tile. We use vintage upcycled scrabble tiles whenever possible.The wood grain and color of wood may vary. It is made with stretchy elastic that easily slips on. The bracelet measures about 6 3/4 - 7 inches round. The tiles have been hand-drilled.

London Bracelet / Upcycled / Scrabble Jewelry

 

This London bracelet is a unique scrabble jewelry item using upcycled scrabble tiles with vintage London images adhered to them. There are six scrabble tiles that spell LONDON on the inside. The landmarks included are the Admiralty Arch, London Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, and the House of Parliament. Each bracelet is handcrafted by us.
