What we're about...

We love UPCYCLED art and a unique gift idea, so we work to create unusual frames and upcycled SCRABBLE ART– like Scrabble jewelry. We have Scrabble art for dog lovers (because we specialize in vintage dog stuff), but we also have other themed Scrabble jewelry and we’re adding more all the time!

Some of the newest themes we’ve added to our Scrabble jewelry include Star Wars, Van Gogh, Harry Potter and Banned Books and Paris…plus many more! You just never know what upcycled SCRABBLE ART we’ll come up with next…we love creating new Scrabble jewelry!!

We specialize in unique gift ideas for dog lovers, so we hope people will check us out when looking for upcycled dog jewelry or a cool DOG FRAME. We work hard to have lots to offer!

Our journey is crazy busy sometimes, the financial end can be a struggle, we don’t know how we’ll keep going, but then…oh my…the ideas come, people send wonderful notes about our stuff, and we’re working together for ourselves. So…our handcrafted journey continues. We hope you’ll stop by now and then. We love that this business opens us up to the whole world…how amazing of a journey is that!

Sporty and our beloved Rippy...

****Sporty and our beloved Rippy****

We love Collies...and, of course, Chihuahuas - like Sporty in this photo.  Actually, we just love dogs, cats and other animals.

Rippy was our tri-colored Collie who passed away just over two years ago now.  We still remember him fondly.  He was such a great dog.

All our dogs and cats are rescues that we adopted from shelters or rescue clubs.  We had a Belgian Tervuren before that we had in dog shows.  He was an amazingly smart dog, but a bit sharp and spooky.  After that, we adopted Collies who are so sensitive and smart.  We just love the softness of them - the softness of their personalities (as well as all that fur!)

We love all our animals and they are all unique, but Rippy was so special.  He had agility titles, herding certificates, temperament test certificates and he was a therapy dog.  We visited children in the Youngstown, Ohio Children's Hospital for several years.  He was a caregiver and protector of all his family.  As you can see in this picture of Rippy and Sporty, Sporty loved Rippy and would curl up next to him.  A bonus was when it was even in a patch of sun!

We miss our Rippy (formally Riptide at Neah Bay).  I have never known a more gentle, loving and silly dog than Rippy.

We now have Sunny Daze.  He is a lot like Rippy in that he is very sensitive, loving and also silly, but he is a powerful boy who can move.  My hope is to get him into agility someday soon and maybe herding if we can find the time.

What a guy!
